Day 181: My Tree with Bubbles
Earlier today we went to visit my tree. I have a lot on my mind and I always find clarification when I'm with my tree. Chuck and I had a little picnic under the branches and then to clear my mind even more, I started blowing bubbles into the air. While watching them float away I let my troubles go with them and suddenly I had the clarity I so longed for. I love my tree.

Serenity
This photo was taken in 1994 with my Minolta 35mm film camera. I was exploring the grounds of Asheville's Biltmore Estate and discovered this beautiful spot on the way to the house.
Single Tree
This single tree standing in a field was my inspiration for photographing trees. I passed this tree on my commute and loved the subtle changes it would have during different seasons and lighting conditions. Sadly, after a storm, it was blown over.
